Katie & Brandon

Mid July weddings are expected to be the hottest weddings of the year. So I was pleasantly surprised when I assisted Darbi on a wedding July 18th and it was some of the nicest weather of the summer!

My first wedding in Jefferson City we got to shoot in some really great locations and capture a truly gorgeous couple!

Katie & Brandon opted for a "first glance" before their ceremony.

We also grabbed a couple shots of them in front of the Capital pre ceremony.

And this is the gorgeous bride! Don't you just love those EYES!!!

Post ceremony we had around 2.5 hours for pictures. Yay!!! We had a blast, got some great images, and there was absolutely no rush.

The Girls!
The Boys!
After we stopped by the railroad tracks we headed to the park. These last couple images where some of my absolute favorites!

Darbi & I knew they would be an amazing bride & groom after shooting their engagement pics this spring, and they did not disappoint!
Check out even more AMAZING pics on Darbi's site!

Daniel & Cassandra

Tonight I got to shoot Daniel & Cassie's engagement session. I will be shooting their wedding come this September and it was great to really get to know them and see how much fun they had in front of the camera (for example see the airplane below). They are such a beautiful and loving couple and I just don't think September will come soon enough.

Summer has brought on the most beautiful wild flowers. I keep seeing them pop up here and there and everywhere. So I thought it would be a good time to utilize them. I think I was right :)

I am in love with this new "vintage style" with my processing. Love Love Love! Whatcha Think?

They both have some really great EYES!!

I had a lot of fun tonight guys and I hope you did to. I'm so excited about some of these images and I have so many more to go. Hope you LOVE them!!
And I'll see you in September :)

Meet Kristi, Greg, Lauren, and baby Grace

MY BEST FRIEND GOT MARRIED!!!!!!

One of my absolute best friends got married last weekend. I was actually in the wedding but it was hard to be in bridesmaid mode when I'm so use to being the photographer. Needless to say I was running all over the place trying to do both jobs at the same time. Here are just a couple of the images I captured from the beautiful (but very HOT) day.

She got blue shoes to match her bridesmaids dresses.

Zac is getting himself one hot bride!

Anna I'm so excited for you. Congratulations Babe!

Eryn

I had my first 2010 senior session today. Meet the beautiful Eryn.....

So as you can see with the umbrella it started to rain....okay not just rain POUR!!!! I was hiding under this tree trying to save my camera from becoming drowneded :) but I must say even the tree wasn't safe for very long. Luckily we had gotten so many good images before the weather threw its little fit
So glad to get to hang out with you Eryn...I hope you love them

Paris

So this is the last stop of Annika & my's European adventures that I will be posting. It wasn't our official last stop because that was Amsterdam but by the time we got there I was totally overwhelmed with the thousands of images I'd taken that I was just ready to set the camera down.

But here you go...enjoy Paris

This last image is dedicated to my friend Anna Thornburg. She's the only person I know who loves the Moulin Rouge movie as much as me. Actually I think she's the only person I know other than myself who likes that movie at all.
But yes sadly I'm back in the real world slowly trying to adjust back to a routine. However, on the brighter side I have some sessions coming up so I look forward to shooting and sharing those with you.
XoXo

Skydiving!!!!!!!

As promised I am posting pictures from my day of skydiving in Interlaken Switzerland. I was so excited when I saw the package in my mailbox today!

Getting ready to go....just so you know since I was next to the door I had to go first. One of the scariest parts to me was when they opened the door in the air and I see nothing below me but mountains and the ground far far away.
Don't you love the view?
So I might have been yelling a majority of the way down.
Oh and that's my camera guy's foot by the way!
But eventually I remembered that I was paying for pictures and decided to look up and smile....lol. It really was an adrenaline rush. So...so...so much fun! So now go out and take the jump yourself. :)
