Expo 2010
Every year UCM's photo society hosts a photo competition. This year there were around 480 entries (the largest amount ever). And my little nephew won me 1st place in the children and family category.
So may I present "Baby, it's cold outside."
And remember Dale and Emily's wedding? I won 2nd place in pressbook/album for their wedding pressbook! Yay! It was such an exciting night and it's always fun to see the work that other photographers are producing!

Moberly, MO Senior Photograpy - Alyson

Anyways, now may I introduce to you the beautiful Ms. Alyson . . .
I always get these crazy ideas so yes the following are a little bit different but oh so oh so fun I think!
Her blue shirt was absolutely gorgeous, but then we headed to the old West Park School. The playground area is pretty much abandoned and the weeds are all grown up but it creates a perfect setting for some senior pics with a little edge. 
Oh the apple orchard . . .sigh . . . so beautiful this time of year. It was the perfect setting for the next to outfits. Plus you have no idea how excited I was to use my new chair. For some reason I have been photographing a lot of boys lately and I feel like they'd probably look at me funny if I suggested them sitting in this red Victorian style chair. So utter elation to finally have found the perfect model to get some use out of it. 
Oh yeah and there's a barn next to the orchard too! 
Some behind the scenes action! Reapplying lip gloss. And a tip to all those who are about to get senior (or any other kind for that matter) pictures taken, don't forget your lips. Lip gloss is important to make sure your lips don't look chapped and it gives them a little color or shine. Yes guys I know you don't want to wear lip gloss, but a little chap stick could go a longgggg Way!!!!!
The pink shoes . . . gotta love them!!!!!
We also headed downtown to get a little more variety with the shoes! :)
This shadow pics is one of my faves. Plus it makes her legs look gigantically (in a good way) long!
