It Feels (tastes) like FALL to me!!!!!

I'm not the kind of person that has favorites. No Favorite color, food, anything. However, if I was to name my favorite season I might have to say Fall. Now this is not a declaration, just saying there is a possibility if I had a knife at my back and was forced to choose, that might be my answer. :) Now in the spirit of fall, I bring you a most delicious, scrumptilicious treat! Go make one. You know you want to!

Moberly High School Cheerleading

I always find myself taking on way toooo much, this year was nothing different. I became a JV cheerleading coach for Moberly Senior High School. Although it kept me busy on top of an already busy schedule, might I add helped contribute to my lack of sleep, it was non the less some of the best time I had this summer/fall! It gave me a chance to get away from my computer screen and interact with some truly AMAZING young girls!

Look at that cradle!

Stair Step!

Yeah that's right they got a twist too!

Liberty! I was so proud that they finally got their liberty! This stunt came a long way, and the girls worked so hard! :)

Why hellooooo SKY!

AWWWW my wonderful girls!! So very proud of all you and so blessed to have gotten to be your coach! :) :)

Cole & Megan- Pleasant Hill, MO Engagement Photography

What seems like a long time ago, I walked into my college dorm room eager to start college, make new friends, get my photography degree, etc. etc. Well this post wraps two of the things I was searching for into one. I lived on a co-ed floor in Fitzgerald Hall at UCM. The guys across the hall were some of my first new friends in College. Meet one of those guys, Cole, below! Now Megan (also below) was Cole's girlfriend and another one of my first new friends, as you could almost always find her next door. Several years later, I find myself getting to use that photography degree to not only hang out with those friends but to photograph their engagement session and upcoming wedding.

Cole and Megan I'm so glad I get to be a part of your day and have an excuse to see you again! Now without further ado I bring you Megan and Cole!

We started the session on Cole's Parent's Farm in Belton, MO. There was a beautiful yellow tree in front of their house, so we got to start the session off with that truly autumnish feel!

Then there were cows!!! Now I'm not much of a farm girl myself, although I truly love being in a variety of surroundings especially when in concerns pictures. I just wish I would have thought to bring some boots. I had to keep dodging these nice little piles the cows left for us, and had I missed seeing one, I would have been truly mad about ruining my shoes. Luckily I dodged well! :)

The whole time we were doing these tractor pics Kenny Chesney's song kept playing in my head! Now if you don't know what I'm talking about or you feel like the song will put you in the farm/country mood listen here!

A change of pace . . . We finished the session in downtown Pleasant Hill, where Cole & Megan now live!

Isn't she just gorgeous!

I love the ending photo! HEHE I told her to bite his ear, and she did. Afterwards I made fun of the face Cole had made and he said, "Yeah it hurt!" I didn't mean to hurt him Megan just to bite nicely! haha.

It was so good to see you guys again, can't wait till your wedding in December! Love you guys!

Courtney- Cairo, MO Senior Photography

Remember Derek & Jessica's wedding from earlier this year? Well then you might recognize this senior! Courtney is non other than Derek's sister. Is it starting to come together? However, this is Courtney's shining moment so I'll let you to it . . .

I could not think of a more fitting outfit for the cornfield! This was Courtney's (Courtney the senior not me :)) idea.

Courtney is in love with her dad's corvette! So what could be more fitting?

I tell you what, I need to grow!!!! When I photograph these tall beautiful people I'm always looking up at them and I have to carry a step ladder around. It's quite annoying really! OK that was besides the point, can you say sttttunnnninnng!!!!!!

Such an amazing day for a session. Thanks so much Courtney for asking me to take your senior pics. Best wishes!!!!
