St. Charles MO Wedding Photography

Last Weekend I shot a wedding with a friend from school Layton Powell. We went the day before to checkout the rehearsal and we got to go to the dinner afterward, which was at none other than Dave and Busters!! I had never been there before and it was a lot of fun. They even gave us an extra card so Layton and I got to join in on the fun, but not before we got a couple pics.

The next day we started the day off by accompanying the girls to the salon.

Below is one of the Junior Bridesmaids necklace. They came in such a gorgeous little box!

I love getting little detail shots like this!

The reception's location was absolutely stunning!

The flower girls decided to dump their petals outside! :) Oh well it made for a really cute picture!

All in all it was a really great day! It had actually been cloudy most of the day and even started misting a couple of times, but it didn't start pouring until the very end of the reception! Now that's what I call lucky!!

UCM Expo Print Competition

Every year UCM Photo Society puts on a print competition for students and faculty. This year we had around 427 photo entries, beating the previous record of 410. I took home 3 ribbons this year and was really excited.

The below image won me 1st place in the wedding/couple category- "Flirtatious"
This image, "Seeing Stripes" won me 3rd place in the film category. The digital image is not that great since I had to take a picture of it and I had already put it back in the frame, but you can get the idea.
I also won 1st place in the pressbook/album category but I don't have the files to show you that one. Sorry!!!

But I was really excited and I got a lot of fun stuff.

Yay for new 5Ds!!!!!!!

So I bought a new camera. Yay!!! I wanted to get it in time to take it on my Europe trip this summer. Which is only a month and one week away. More Yay!!!! However, I have been so busy I haven't had much time to play with it. But below is the very first image I took. It's edited with one of my new action sets. Can't wait to show you more!!!!!
