My new baby cousin was born just a few weeks ago! She is such a beautiful little baby and I was so excited to shoot her newborn session. So help me welcome to the world, Beautiful Baby "Bella!"

Zach & Family!- Moberly, MO Family Photography

I recently shot a family session that included, Zach, one of my close friends from high school. It was so good to see him despite the extremely hot conditions. Zach contacted me earlier in the year about doing pictures of him, his sister, and her family for a Mother's Day Session! Needless to say we did not get the pictures done in time for Mother's Day, but here it is several months later!

Hannam Family- Moberly & Columbia MO Children and Family Photography

Meet the Hannam family!! A while back I shot these guys out on the Spartan football field. Dad is one of the Moberly Spartan's Football coaches, so it made pretty good sense. This time, however, we didn't go to the football field but they did sport Spartan colors (red & blue).



Grandma and Grandpa joined in on some of the pictures . . . And we had to get one of just the girls.

Remember my little cookie monster, the one I shot for my honors project? Here she is back again! Such a cutie, Ms. Zoey!

As I mentioned, Dad is one of the Spartan football coaches, and inconveniently had to participate in a coaches meeting for the first half of the session. He joined in for the second half though as we switched locations to Rothwell Park!

Honors Project- Kiersten

Being in my final semester at UCM, I was required to complete an honors project. Now there really weren't any specifics on the project. I just had to come up with and idea of what I wanted to do, get it approved, find a faculty mentor, and get to work. Since I don't work with kids as often as seniors or weddings/couples, I thought it would be fun to incorporate kids into the project and yet put a spin on traditional children's portraits.

With that idea in mind I set myself upon the task of creating a photo book of children, "Breaking the Rules." I thought it would be a fun way to get more photojournalistic images of children doing something that they would actually enjoy doing. So I started the project off with my niece, Kiersten. The rule she was breaking was: playing with mom's things.

Isn't she beautiful! Not a bad makeup job considering she did it herself!

I love this little girl, and I love how her personality shines through in these images! This shoot was a great way to start off my project. I hope you enjoy!!!!!!!!!
