Patrick's graduation day was such a long and busy day. But I was so excited for him, and all the other seniors (some that are almost like family anyways)!!
However, the always serious Patrick. He looks thrilled in this first pic doesn't he? Waiting for things to begin . . .
Receiving his diploma. Such a proud sister I am!
Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And this is me and the graduate. So proud of you baby brother!!
Now the fun begins . . . At Moberly, the senior parent's put together an after party for all the "graduates." Somehow I got talked in to taking pictures all night by my mother. The party started around 10:00pm and lasted till about 5:30am. Amazingly I was wide awake the entire time. Plus I got some great shots with my new fish eye lens! Love the distortion. So FUN!!!!!
Seeing as minute-to-win-it is the popular game show right now, the "graduates" could play against each other. It was kind of a tournament style thing and the winners got prizes. In the back you can also see the guitar hero they had set up.
More Minute-to-win-it!
Some Gambling!
The bowling alley was completely shut-down just for the party, and all the arcade games were fair game. Dance Dance Revolution! Okay not really but something like that!
Photo booths are the popular thing right now in the wedding industry. Inspired by that I set up my amazing black back drop (Drop it Modern) and got some really hilarious shots of any single/group that came along and wanted to participate.
Also a little more background. Moberly's cheering section (sometimes called pep club at other schools) at sporting events is called THE MOB! Part of the fun of the mob is that the students dress up in all sorts of crazy clothes and bring props in support of their team. One kid, Matthew Scroggins, who you might recall seeing pictures of since I took his senior pictures a couple months ago, had 2 huge boxes dedicated to props that he wore for the mob. I talked him into bringing it and using it for the photo booth! Thanks Matt! Everyone loved you crazy props!!!!
Moberly Senior Football boys! They didn't quite fit onto the backdrop, but that doesn't mean they didn't try!
It was a loooonggg night! These two obviously were tired! haha
Senior moms took advantage of the photo booth as well!
And Finally at the end of the night, when most of the "graduates" were ready to go home and fall into their beds, they announced the winners of the big prizes that many generous companies donated!
Even if I wasn't so familiar with this senior class because of my brother, you can tell how close they all are, and how much fun they have together! Wish all of you the best of luck and hope you had a blast! Definitely will be a night to remember!!!!!
