What seems like a long time ago, I walked into my college dorm room eager to start college, make new friends, get my photography degree, etc. etc. Well this post wraps two of the things I was searching for into one. I lived on a co-ed floor in Fitzgerald Hall at UCM. The guys across the hall were some of my first new friends in College. Meet one of those guys, Cole, below! Now Megan (also below) was Cole's girlfriend and another one of my first new friends, as you could almost always find her next door. Several years later, I find myself getting to use that photography degree to not only hang out with those friends but to photograph their engagement session and upcoming wedding.
Cole and Megan I'm so glad I get to be a part of your day and have an excuse to see you again! Now without further ado I bring you Megan and Cole!
We started the session on Cole's Parent's Farm in Belton, MO. There was a beautiful yellow tree in front of their house, so we got to start the session off with that truly autumnish feel!
Then there were cows!!! Now I'm not much of a farm girl myself, although I truly love being in a variety of surroundings especially when in concerns pictures. I just wish I would have thought to bring some boots. I had to keep dodging these nice little piles the cows left for us, and had I missed seeing one, I would have been truly mad about ruining my shoes. Luckily I dodged well! :)
The whole time we were doing these tractor pics Kenny Chesney's song kept playing in my head! Now if you don't know what I'm talking about or you feel like the song will put you in the farm/country mood listen here!
A change of pace . . . We finished the session in downtown Pleasant Hill, where Cole & Megan now live!
I love the ending photo! HEHE I told her to bite his ear, and she did. Afterwards I made fun of the face Cole had made and he said, "Yeah it hurt!" I didn't mean to hurt him Megan just to bite nicely! haha.
It was so good to see you guys again, can't wait till your wedding in December! Love you guys!
