They Make Cheese and Knifes but My Favorite was the CHOCOLATE!!!!!

So I must admit I didn't do a very good job taking pictures of Lucern Switerland, which is sad because it really is a gorgeous place. I think all the thousands of pictures I took in Italy just made my poor little finger tired of pushing that shutter button. However, I won't disappoint you completely, I do have a couple of images to share.

Now I know this is a sad amount of pics compared to every other place but what can I say...

You know it was amazing to me all the Swiss are famous for.....they make knifes and cheese and chocolate and who knows what else. While I'm not a fan of Swiss cheese and really don't have much use for knifes I will admit I ate my fair share of Chocolate.

Another thing that Annika and I did while in Switzerland was take a little day trip to Interlaken where we went SKYDIVING!!!!!! And yes I will soon have the pictures to prove it. Unfortanetly they have to be shipped to my house in Moberly so I won't have them till I get home. But I promise to post some later.

Cinque Terre

So I want to thank Sean and Kristi this amazing couple Annika and I met on the train. They suggested this cute little area made up of five fishing towns called Cinque Terre and after falling in love with the place before ever getting to see it, Annika and I adjusted our plans and made a little detour.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Sean and KristiWe went on a hike that took us through all the five towns and got to see some spectacular views..... you'll see for yourself

Then this was a sunset that I captured in the first of the five fishing towns, Riomaggiore, which is where we stayed.

Annika and I had seriously contemplated just spending the rest of our trip laying on the beaches in Cinque Terre. Sadly we had to leave and move on to our last stops. But oh how we were sad to leave!

Oh Venice.....

I have wanted to go to Italy since FOREVER!!!!! And it did not let me down. Annika and I started our trek through Italy in Venice. Oh how I already miss it!!!!

Some of this Venetian masks were just so gorgeous!!!!!

I love this pic of Annika! We were exploring the tourist shops and she insisted on a pic with the starfish! :)

I always seem to find these great mirrors! haha

I love all the colors!

And not only have I always wanted to go to Italy but I've always wanted to take a ride in a gondola. It was so much FUN!!!!! Our gondelier guy was so cute too! See him ducking in the background. :)

We had fun exploring the colorful fruit and fish markets

And I'll end with one of my absolute favorite pictures. It's so simple but just reminds me so much of Venice!!!

Fussen, Germany

Fuseen was a nice vaca from the big cities where we have been. The small town was cute and sweet we enjoyed eating at the markets and just taking in the view.

One of the many lakes in Fuseen.

Hohenschwangau- (The Summer Palace)

Neuswanstein castle

The views were amazing. And I have so many more and probably better pictures to go through... just wanted to give you a preview.

But I'm going Skydiving tomorrow so I got to go get some sleep, Wish me LUCK!!!!!

The City of Steps.....

OH how easy it was to fall in love with Prague. Up to this point it was by far my favorite city minus one thing- an unbelievable amount of Stairs!!!! However I guess it was an even exchange.

On the night train headed to Prague (Praha). I've slept on a train before when I've been on ski trips out to Colorado but we never actually had a sleeping car so this was a new experience.

One of the Amazing caricutre artists on Charle's Bridge!

And under the Bridge!

Annika shot a wedding in Warsaw with the Amazing silverbox photographers. So it was a nice coincidence to get to meet up with them on Prague. Annika, Kim, and I spent one of our days walking around the city taking pictures and taking in a garden, walking tour in Kim's guide book. One of the images from this venture with an intresting twist because I was using her fish eye. HOW FUN is this!! OH how I want this lens now.

One day Annika and I also took a walk up to the Perren tower. It overlooks the entire city and is set up on a giant hill. By the way it was just a little windy. (See below for example)

A view of Prague Castle from the tower.

OH and we decided to have a little photo shoot on our way to the top. Just us being Silly!!

There was the most adorable little house and field of pear trees on the otherside of the tower that we stumbled on our way down. I particularly was fond of these purple flowers.

OH it also rained on us a bit. We just wanted to have proof that we did in fact use the ponchos Annika's mom bought us.

I love Mirrors!

And this was goodbye to Prague. We finally got a picture of the four of us Annika, me, Amy, and Kim. To check out the beautiful wedding Silverbox shot while in europe checkout their blog.

Till next time- XoXo

Auschwitz

Auschwitz was definitly a different experience. I'm glad that Annika and I decided to go. We both are very into the holocaust and have been wanting to see the camp for sometime.

This was the entrace for the people into the first camp. They would later create Birkenau or Auschwitz II.

This was blockade #10 where many experiments for steralization where preformed on mostly Jewish women.

The death wall

This is where many of the prisoners slept. The heater which is running through the middle never worked.

What is left of one of the six gas chamber in the Birkenau camp

This is the end of the line where trains would come and the prisoners would be split into those who would go straight to the gas chambers and those who were decided could be used as laborers.
It's definitly a lot to stomach, but so worth seeing. The experience is really beyond words, it's simply undescribable.

(And as always ignore my spelling. Right now I'm in Italy and I definitly don't speak Italian)
